Front Desk Japan
Company: Vacation Niseko
Category: Hospitality

Country: Japan
Region/State: Hokkaido
Resort/Town: Kutchan-cho, Niseko

The biggest team for who we will be hiring in winter 2018-19.

Your job is to be the interface between our guests and the resort:

- Welcoming the guests into our properties

- Explaining them the working of appliances inside the house (for example, how the dishwasher works, how the TV works, ...)

- Answering questions of guests (where is the best Japanese restaurant around? Where can I rent skis? What is the best part of the mountain for beginners?)

And as well saying farewell to the guests when they are leaving town, collecting any payment dues, etc...

This job will require a very good contact with the guest, outgoing personality and a strong will to share your passion for the snow and the resort!

Part of the jobs of the Front Desk staff is to drive guests around the resort when necessary, especially going to pick-up guests from the bus station or driving them back to the bus station. As a result, a driving license is mandatory to work in this team! (And don't worry too much about driving on snowy roads - around Niseko it is less difficult than it seems...).

We are looking for individuals passionate about the snow and with very strong work ethics who understand that hard work can be rewarding with our guests smiles and the satisfaction of having created great experiences for our guests.
